Warmly welcome to take part in our seminar about top success in both sports and business. Norway is known for producing top performing athletes. What is behind this success and what crucial differences exist among the Nordic models of producing high performance?
In Norway, sport activity is highly valued and elite athletes are sought-after employees even in the business world after their sports careers. How can we improve multi-professionality and societal support for top performers in Finland as well? Are there similar factors that contribute to success in both sports and business and what makes one strive and shine?
These thoughts will be highlighted and discussed by our seminar speakers Prof. Emer. Svein Andersen, from the Norwegian Business School, who has a long experience in the field. Chief Specialist at KIHU, Jari Lämsä will talk about the Finnish model for producing top athletes, supported by research. Director Matti Heikkinen, the Olympic Committee, will describe the role and responsibility of the society regarding national athletes. Thereafter the panel, with the addition of Riikka Heikinheimo, Director of the Confederation of Finnish industries and Jenny von Knorring, Head of International Services at Staffpoint, will assess these topics in further discussion with the audience. Warmly welcome to take part and please remember to sign up.
