The Nordic Investment Bank, the Norwegian-Finnish Trade Association, Innovation Norway, and the Royal Norwegian Embassy organizes a seminar “Nordic ecosystem for innovation and green growth financing”.
Mr. Idar Kreutzer, Managing Director for Finance Norway will present his recent report “An integrated and effective Nordic ecosystem for innovation and green growth” commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Leading experts in the panel together with the audience will discuss the challenge of making the Nordic countries better integrated and the Nordic region a stronger market. During the seminar we will also specifically discuss the steps that needs to be taken to create a world leading Nordic region that attracts international venture capital for Nordic start-ups and green growth.

Idar Kreutzer serves as Managing Director of Finance Norway. He was CEO of the Storebrand group 2000-2012. He is a member of the Board of the University of Oslo, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Norwegian School of Economics, of which he is a graduate, and holds a number of other key board positions. In 2015/2016 he headed the Norwegian Government’s expert Committee on Green Competitive Power. He is a member of the Climate Council of the Minister of Climate and Environment in Norway.
In October 2018 Kreutzer presented his report on access to risk capital in Nordic countries which was commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers. “For international venture capital, each Nordic country is small. Together we are one of the most attractive regions in the world. Let us therefore make it one region for venture capital as well”, Idar Kreutzer said at the launching of his report in which he points out what measures are needed to develop a more integrated Nordic eco system that may attract venture capital.
